My first score for a feature, "The Price of Hope" by Caroline Karoki. This documentary grapples with the gruesome topic of female genital mutilation (FGM) in Karoki's native Kenya. Per the director's request, despite at times deepening the darkness of the story, the score mainly serves to provide an uplifting contrast to the horrific topic. As the name suggests, this is a film about hope and I hope that my score did its job of elevating that necessary feeling.

A compilation of scenes from the award winning animated film, "Run Totti Run," by director Shad Bradbury. The challenge in this project was taking Shad's real life tune that he would sing for his beloved dog and incorporating it into the score. Hear Tomo (the boy) hum the theme as my music accompanies and then develops the theme throughout the film.
